Wasn't perfect but I thought it was better than Superman Returns. The battle between Supes and Doomsday should have been longer but overall I enjoyed the hell out of this feature length cartoon. Why the fuck doesn't the studio put Bruce Timm on script duties for a live action Superman movie? I know the answer btw. It's because the guys who make these kind of decisions have no idea what the fuck they are doing. Anyone else seen this yet?

I posted a writeup in the Movie Reviews (http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=114099) from. It gets my seal of approval.

Just found out about this today; saw a promo for it on TV. I think the last comic book I read was the Death of Superman series; don't remember much of them, but I think a live action adaptation of the story would be better.

i cant imagine why they chose a straight to dvd over a mega million dollar earning movie

Watched this last night and rather liked it. The character designs were pretty boring though and there were numerous completely pointless small scenes and pieces of dialogue. The music score was pretty cool at times though.
