Ugh....the waiting game once again.

2005-it was "the Pink Panther" film due late that summer but waylaid until early 2006...2006-it was "The Reaping" due that fall..then waylaid until April 2007...now 2 films I was jazzed up for most of 2007 which are...(of course I've been aware of the release date change on these films for months now but..) "10,000 B.C." and "Trick R' Treat" both pushed up until winter and summer of 2008 for their release dates...ah the waiting game...

A worse feeling is having just seen the latest work of a filmmaker you follow, but then you realize you'll have to wait another 3-5 years (or even longer) for his/her next work (most filmmakers seem to only manage about 3 or 4 films per decade now, it seems). Ah, well. Such is the creative process.

Was looking forward to both of those and them being pushed back doesn't give me a good feeling. After all The Pink Panther and Reaping both ended up being shit.

Not surprised about 10,000 BC being moved to summer. That looks like a summer movie. Should be a huge spectacle.

And considering that Trick 'r Treat was SUPPOSE to open this weekend and yet there have been zero commercials for it, can't say I'm surprised it got moved either.
