Ciarán Hinds as Bloefeld would be great. Both he and Craig were great in Munich together.

oh no are they brining Blofeld back? not a bad idea perse but he won't have the impact the orginal character had for obvious reasons.

Nice choice of Ciarán Hinds (would be nice to see him and Craig together again after Munich), but just leave Blofeld alone.

If he was put in future Bond films, general audiences (re: anyone under 40) would immediately think they lifted the character from Dr. Evil (or think that it was Dr. Evil himself). Even if moviegoers knew who Blofeld is today, the Dr. Evil character kind of ruined the chances of his return simply through the visual association with the two.

Still, if the Austin Powers series didn't exist, it would be a nice surprise to see Blofeld as the mastermind behind the organization from Casino Royale.
