Studio sources confirmed that De Toth has been hired as an editor, but not "controlling the project" as TwitchFilms stated. We were informed, "Director Xavier Gens is still working on the film. The film still has intense action and will definitely be rated 'R.'" Our source strongly denied that Fox is softening the final cut and called the original report untrue. They emphasized that it will still be a true "R" and a not a "bloodless version".

Oh thank I'm glad this movie will be delivered In R Glory. But Still R is only on part of a good movie now the director cast and everybody else has to finish.

The original report was just... "WTF?" Would be a typical exec move, but come on. How can... or really, should a movie, based on a "M" rated video game, be PG13? I say no... but hey, what do I know?

That's good to hear, depending on what the reviews are like I might see it now.

I'm still kinda on the fence about this movie....I think the main character was horribly miscast (I love Timothy Olyphant, but he's not who I envisioned as The Hitman).

Seconded for a second thread.
Kid is too young, and too "pretty-boy" for the part.
No matter how much they crank up the action, the horribly miscast lead isn't going to pull weight in this one, IMHO.

Actually He's 39 Not very Young. and I was skeptical about him being in it too but after seeing the trailer I think he might be able to pull it off

I can't see this being good.

Timothy Olyphant has babyface, and it bugs me.

I'll see it as long as it's 'R'. Downgrading it would've been tremendously stupid.
