Not a fan of his. My favorite movie he appears in is True Romance.

Can't believe you didn't include Se7en.

i like 12 monkeys, seven and Kalifornia a lot, but I also have a strange soft spot for the Mexican, cool world and fight club, But my all time favorite is Johnny Suede.

Ratings-wise, this is how it stands for me:
Fight Club 10/10
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford 9/10
Snatch 9/10
Se7en 9/10
Twelve Monkeys 8/10
Ocean's Eleven 8/10
Mr. and Mrs. Smith 7/10
Babel 7/10
Sleepers 7/10
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind 7/10
Thelma & Louise 7/10
Meet Joe Black 7/10
Troy 6/10
Interview with the Vampire 6/10
The Mexican 5/10
Ocean's Twelve 5/10

But if I were to pit Fight Club up against Assassination, I think I might actually like Assassination more (I almost never give 10/10s anymore to movies on initial viewing) as far as favorites go. So I picked Assassination.

Though it was spelt wrong in the poll (:D), my pick is Assassination of Jesse James, easily the most powerful performance of the year and IMO his career. Though many of these films are solid answers to this poll, Pitt is one of the most underrated actors of his generation because everyone focuses on his personal life rather than his professional life.

Just a question: Am I the only one who thinks Fight Club might be just a touch overrated in the grand scheme of things? It's definitely a very good movie that I'm glad I own, but am I really the only one who feels that there's a little too much praise thrown at this flick?

I know what you mean, the movie gets a lot of praise that it does well and truly deserve, but I'm one of those that thinks it is just a touch overrated. The thing is though, I do think its a great film and can never think of a reason why I think its slightly overrated.

Waitin for Jesse James before I vote.

No, a bunch of people do.

I voted other AKA Se7en. Fight Club is next, followed by The Assassination of Jesse James, which is his best performance (by far).

Se7en is his best movie, so I voted other.

This year's Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford is his best performance though.

Fight Club is his best movie.

as for his best performance, it actually might have been Snatch. he was pretty hilarious.

It would probably have to be either one of two movies that aren't even on the poll: Se7en or his Academy Award-nominated performance in Twelve Monkeys.

Fight Club easily... Though Snatch is a very close 2nd... He was also great in 12 Monkeys... I liked him in Troy, Oceans 11, Assassination of Jesse James, Meet Joe Black and Seven as well.

He's one o' my favourites.

This is actually a really hard one. Thanks for making it so much easier by excluding some of Pitt's best work (12 Monkeys, Se7en, Thelma and Louise, etc.)

Of the list I chose his most recent, because it is currently tied with "No Country for Old Men" as my favorite of this year.

"Fight Club" is pretty good, but it's kinda scary how overrated it is. If there is one movie I think actually could influence people in a violent way, that one's it. Still good, though.

"Snatch" is good too, but somehow it doesn't scream #1!

Seven was amazing, but Fight Club is still where he's done his best work. I can't think of another movie where I was blown away like I was at the ending of Fight Club.

I liked Brad Pitt a lot in Legends of the Fall. Babel was a fantastic movie as well. The guy has accomplished a lot. Hopefully he keeps being in quility films for years to come.

In terms of performance, either Jesse James, Fight Club or Snatch (but probably in that order).
