I love Bellucci. I've already stated my distaste for Alba. I don't think she has any talent whatsoever and nor can I take her seriously. As hard as she tries to be a 'serious actor' she falls flat on her face when she proves herself to the public.

Bellucci on the other hand, has a body of work that speaks for itself. Not only that, for a woman of her age range to look that incredible and take the risks she has taken on film roles, that puts her way beyond Alba by millions of light years!

The best example I can think of is the intensity of her performance in Irreversible when she gets raped in the tunnel. Plus she's mother and she's tackling that kind of material. You know she's got to have a lot of balls for doing that! Not many actresses can do something like that and garner respect.

My sentiments exactly. I felt that way when I first tried to watch a few seconds of Dark Angel. After that I turned it off and was puzzled how she managed to snatch that role. To this day I'm perplexed how someone like her is where she's at. I understand the whole hot babe thing but, there are far more attractive actresses in the business. Bellucci being up there.
