Unfortunately I'm such an impatient guy that I'll buy all of these before christmas (I think EP actually comes out on the 26th but w/e), then just ask for gift cards for christmas. I've been doing that for xmas/b-days the past few years, and it seems to work out ok.

I only asked for The X-Files: Ultimate Collection, and I know my parents bought it. Other than that I buy everything myself, because 1) I'm not gunna ask for a DVD that came out a week ago at $15.99, that my relative now has to pay $19.99 for, and 2) I'm anal about packaging, and it has to be in better than perfect condition.

I would ask for a 17" HDTV for a couple hundred bucks, but the only reason I would want one is to watch movies in HD, and I don't want to buy an HDDVD or Blu-Ray player until I know that there is a clear winner, plus they're so gorram expensive that I can't really afford one right now (although I really REALLY want Lost: Season 3 in Blu-Ray. I'll probably end up buying the regular edition, then if/when I get a Blu-Ray player i'll buy it again....HD is gonna be hell for double dipping).

Sucks that you can't get any movies, but I've had a PS3 for a year now, and the games are starting to get really fucking awesome. Not to mention Metal Gear Solid 4 and the new GTA are being released soon.

i didn't really create a big list this year like i usually do.

my girlfriend gave me all 4 Steelbook Die Hard films, Pirates of the Carribbean: At Worlds End 2 Disc, Superbad Unrates and 20th Anniversary of Shark Week and Friday Night Lights Season 1 (both of which I had, but were stolen, so that was very sweet of her, haha)

I'm really hoping to get the limited edition 5 disc set of Blade Runner.

other than those, i didn't ask for any in particular, although i'm sure i'll be getting some with gift cards :D
