Hi all! First off, let me just say that I did enjoy LFODH as an action movie. There are a couple scenes in there that I think rang true to Die Hard. However, it was just a bit too different in spirit. Just for fun, I took the liberty of making a custom 'Die Hard 4' poster and trailer sort of like a "What if?" I hope you all enjoy!

What if this was the poster?

The poster makes it look like the name is Die Hard: Gary Oldman like Die Hard: With A Vengeance. :o

No arguments about Gary Oldman > Timothy Olyphant, but I'm fine with the Die Hard 4 that we got. No need to think about what could have been...

Loved Live Free or Die Hard, just wished there was more blood and swearing(and yes I have seen the unrated cut). And Olyphant was a great bad guy, he brought a new twist to the meaning of bad guy.

Right On.

BTW... that trailer really didn't do what you wanted it to do. It didn't feel like a Die Hard trailer at all. It felt like several totally different movies mashed together...which is exactly what it was.

As much as I enjoyed LFoDH, I would totally pay to see Die Hard: Gary Oldman.

yeah that's what I thought. I would stick with Die Hard 4 as is and even though I'm not really a fan of Olephant, he did just ok, and wasn't in it enough to really bug me.

I could do with Gary Oldman as a Die Hard villain. But LFoDH was cool as is; Olyphant grew on me as the movie went on.

Olyphant was totally weak. Just like this movie. It's Bad Boys 2 starring Bruce Willis instead of Will Smith.

What the hell did I just watch? Sorry, but that trailer didn't have a "Die Hard spirit" either.

trailer was weak. poster makes it look like the movies secondary title is Gary Oldman. I dont think Die Hard: Gary Oldman makes a great movie name.

This movie was just as dumb, over-the-top and bad as all the dumb, over-the-top and bad action movies that have been released over the years.

Even Gary Oldman couldn't save this shit.
