Fox has announced rated (88 minutes) and unrated (107 minutes) editions of The Comebacks which stars David Koechner, and Carl Weathers. This Tom Brady directed comedy will be available to own from the 29th January, with each disc retailing at around $29.98. The rated edition will include a Fox Movie Channel Presents “In Character with David Koechner” feature, a Varsity Black N’ Blues behind the scenes featurette, and three Fox Atomic viral videos (Fake Product Endorsements, Beyond the Legacy, and Ode To Namath). The unrated edition will include a commentary by director Tom Brady, deleted scenes, six featurettes (Coach Koechner, Million Dollar Booty, The Karaoke Kid, Heartland Hotties vs. Lone Star Naughties, A Laugh of Their Own, and Razor Blades of Glory) and some Andy Dick outtakes.

I'll give this a rent, thought it looked pretty funny. Hopefully its not another date or Epic movie.

I'll just rent it, because I'll probably end up hating it.

Funny this movie arrived in theaters here yesterday. I wonder if The Comebacks or Epic Movie should be awarded as worst spoof movie of the year.

I saw The Comebacks and it is in fact as bad as it looks. I am mildly intrigued by the unrated version's 20 extra minutes. I wonder if it is 20 minutes of good stuff the left out just to get the PG-13 or is it just another 20 minutes of crap. My money is on the latter

well it's directed by Tom Brady, and that man knows football, so who knows, might be worth a look.
