I haven't gotten around to seeing this and I probably won't, so I will be purchasing since I heard good things about it. Also the cover art is okay but It would've looked better without the floating heads, kinda like the Zodiac DVD.

I searched for threads about this and couldn't find any.

Definitely worth a blind-buy if you haven't seen it.

I'd pay $50 for this DVD!

I'm so fucking siked to own this. This is without a doubt one of the best films of the year. The story is excellent and the ending is pitch perfect.

I'm not sure if it would make my Top 10 of the year, but easily Top 15. It was surprisingly good and one of the better films of the year. Its a better film when compared to Mystic River as well.

Definite purchase. I was expecting a nice, well-paced thriller, and ended up with one of my favorite movies of the year.

*SPOILERS*

That scene in the pedophile's room was fucking intense.

If I were you, I wouldn't buy it. This movie is one where you rent it once and leave it alone.

I like that they included the image from the perfect poster, but that should be all that's on there. Axe the floating heads.

I would give this movie a rent first, not a blind buy. Personally, I was very disappointed with this...I will fully admit that I was a huge fan of the book (and very pumped for this movie) but I thought it was pretty mediocre at best. Stale direction and horrible editing do not make a good movie. I thought they ruined the power of the novel - it was faithful to the book for the most part but none of the characters ever seemed convincing in the film...

It still isn't good enough to be worth buying.

Besides, that cover art is extremely obnoxious.
