Nah Angel, this comes out in 2008, or 2010.. They have to turn out the original before they plan the remake. Hollywood isn't that stupid.. yet.

Well, I'm pretty sure a few studios have already bought remake rights for a number of asian flicks that haven't even been released yet (at least that's what I read in a number of news postings on the horror side of the boards) so yes.... they are.

Actually, it's the other way around. :) QT usually takes notes from the Japanese flicks like Suicide Club/Circle (自殺サークル, Jisatsu Sākuru), or Battle Royale (バトル・ロワイアル, Batoru Rowaiar), and converts them to "decent" films for stateside viewing.

I've seen both, and they're a lot like this. Suicide Club/Circle blew my mind.. :)
