Stephen Baldwin – who has an amusing cameo in Dave Dobkin's latest, “Fred Claus” - is in talks to star in a sequel to his 90s er, classic, “Bio-Dome”.
According to The NY Daily News, Baldwin, who recently became a born-again Christian, talked extensively about that part of his life on Tuesday with morning host Johnny Stone on WAWZ (99.1 FM). Its there that the star of such classics as "Snakehead" and "Earthstorm" reportedly mentioned his involvement in a possible sequel to director Jason Bloom's “Bio-Dome”, a comedy that starred Baldwin and Pauly Shore as two guys who get inadvertently trapped in a "Bio-Dome" for a year without outside contact. Many still swear it was the cinematic equivalent of the second coming of Christ.
Here's hoping, in the very least, that Bloom (who I actually like - “Overnight Delivery” is one of my favourite guilty pleasures) returns to call the shots.
Oscar 2009 look out!
who can forget classic lines like
Bud: 'Scuse me miss. Are you tired?
Mimi: What?
Bud: Are you tired?
Mimi: No. Why?
Bud: 'Cause you've been running through my mind all day
Bud: SHAVE THE POOCHIE POOCHIE! SHAVE THE POOCHIE POOCHIE!
Alright people, stay with the group and remember here at the bio we're dependent on keeping homo's balanced within the system
