I just thought I would give a heads up to my fellow schmoes...
If it weren't so close to Christmas I would buy this for myself right now.
The James Bond Ultimate Collection is on sale for 109.99 right now on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000V3JGI8/), the cheapest I've ever seen it. If you don't have it, it's a must buy.

if that one was the moster box, it is $225 over at bestbuy.com. So if that is the same one that is a great deal on amazon.

Yup, that's the one. The box with all 4 Ultimate Collection Box Sets and the silly little inserted in the middle Casino Royale and everything.

Time for another heads up to my fellow schmoes.
I think it may be time for me to finally get this for myself...
The James Bond Ultimate Collection is on sale again
for $89.95 ($20 cheaper than last time) right now on Amazon's Gold Box Deals.
With all the Bond reviews (http://joblo.com/23-bonds-reviewed) on Joblo lately I feel even more compelled to get them right now

This seems like it would be a great collection to put on the shelf, except for the fact that half the Bond flicks are garbage.
Talk about highs and lows. I went from super excited (seeing the sale price), to fuckin' bummed (seeing the date on the thread)... Dammit.

If it was $100 bucks, I would have bought it. I, too, noticed the date of the thread.
Now it's two hundred, and I ain't going to pay for that.
almost positive i got it on deepdiscount for my dad last christmas for under $90
OK, check this out guys. Instead of ordering the giant box set, I checked out the price on the 4 individual sets that make up the collector's set + Casino Royale.
Now the price on each of them was about $32 bucks and there are 4 sets. 32 x 4= $128. Now amazon is doing some "best buyer deal" and gave me $20 bucks of my order (I have no idea how this worked, it just happened in the checkout). Add in the 'Free Super Shipping' that is offered for the order and I got the first 20 Bond flicks for less than $106. As I already have the Casino Royale Collector's Edition on Blu Ray, this was perfect for me.
So, bottom line, $202.99 for the fancy box that opens up to just contain the 4 smaller boxes, or $106 minus Casino Royale... I think the wisest choice is apparent.
Even if for some reason you don't score that 'best buyer deal' and you don't have Casino and want it, add it on and you will still only come to about $140 bucks... Pretty sweet deal.
I would have loved to get these on Blu Ray, but fuck... they are expensive. Even if you can find a the "GREAT" deal of only $50 bucks a set, there are only 3 movies in each. That means for the eventual set of 22 movies, you'd end up paying around $375 dollars to own them all. Fuck That Noise.
