Yahoo movies Uk and Ireland has added the first 8 minutes of AVP requiem.

I gotta say this looks really good and I acually liked AVP 1 . The one thing I would've liked is if the first trailer that was released didn't contain so many spoilers

the opening music is lifted straight from Immediate Music trailer stock. Thats kind of a bad sign. Other than that, it looks better than the first, but that isn't saying much. At this point in both franchises there isn't much suspense with revealing either alien.

i think im actually going to go see this now, been a fan of both series but the 1st avp movie was horrible compared to those. and there still is that alien/predator hybrid... stupid. ah what the hell i'll go see it.

1) Co-director Colin Stause noted on another forum, that the clip is heavily edited and that it's also using temp music from other Alien/Predator movies.

2) This looks absolutely fucking badass, visceral and visually stunning. I'm one of the few people that liked Anderson's AvP, but going by this clip and the trailers, Requiem looks like it could be a far better film.


As a hardcore Alien/Predator/AVP fanboy, I really can't fucking wait to see this.

Well, color me surprised!! That was actually very good!!

I liked the way they connected the first AVP with this one.

And having the first glimpse of the Predators' homeworld was stunning.

OMG that was freaking sweet. Unless I'm mistaken, isn't the opening score the original Alien music? If not, it sure sounded similar. I also like how in the trailer, the aliens actually sound like they did in the 2nd Alien film - never did care for how they sounded in the later movies like Resurrection. And the fact that it opens up in a forest, similar the jungle setting in Predator, it looks to me like the Strause brothers are doing their best to give as many nods as they can to the best two films of these very respected fanchises. I actually liked AvP1, despite some of it's flaws. I think it was still a good movie. From what I've seen so far though, AvP:R has the potential to be a GREAT movie.

I dunno about you guys, but it looks like I'll be having a very nice Christmas this year. :D

Damn, that was better than the the entire first film! You can definately tell it was edited though. I loved seeing the Predators home world! Christmas is gonna be good this year:D

Im pretty excited for this...anybody have any idea on the runtime? IMDB says its only 86 minutes long, if so I was really hoping for a little bit longer.
