Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Blonde Ambition which stars Jessica Simpson, Luke Wilson, Penelope Ann Miller, and Rachael Leigh Cook. The Scott Marshall directed comedy will be available to own from the 22nd January, and should retail at around $24.96. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra material will be deleted scenes, and a behind the scenes featurette.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced We Own the Night which stars Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, and Robert Duvall. This James Gray directed film will be available to own from the 12th February, and should retail at around $28.95. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a commentary with Writer and Director James Gray, a Police Action: Filming Cops, Cars, and Chaos featurette, and a Moment In Crime: Creating Late 80's Brooklyn featurette. A Blu-ray release will also be available for $38.96 with identical features.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced standard and special edition releases of Into the Wild which stars Emile Hirsch, Marcia Gay Harden, William Hurt, and Catherine Keener. The Sean Penn directed drama will be available to own from the 12th February. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. No extras will be included on the standard edition. The special edition will include an Into the Wild: The Story, The Characters featurette, an Into the Wild: The Experience featurette, and the trailer. A HD DVD release will also be available.

Disney Home Video has announced The Game Plan which stars Dwayne “The Rock" Johnson, Madison Pettis, and Kyra Sedgwick. This Andy Fickman directed film will be available to own from the 22nd January for $29.99. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a chalk talk commentary in which Johnson and director Andy Fickman enliven their unique film commentary by drawing “sports booth” style graphics on the screen to highlight their filmmaking experience, an ESPN's SportsCenter: The Rock Learns To Play QB featurette, bloopers, deleted scenes, and more. A Blu-ray release will also be available for around $34.99.

Universal Home Video has announced NC-17 (2 Hours 39 Minutes) and rated (2 Hours 35 Minutes) editions of Lust, Caution which stars Tony Leung, Tang Wei, and Joan Chen. This Ang Lee directed film will be available to own from the 19th February, with each DVD setting you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with a Mandarin Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. English subtitles will also be provided. The only extra material will be a ”Tiles of Deception, Lurid Affections” featurette.

I will be renting Lust Caution and The Game Plan(buying if I like it enough) , and Purchasing We own the Night and Into the wild.

Genius Products and The Weinstein Company have announced the upcoming release of Robin-B-Hood starring Jackie Chan. This 2006 film will be afforded an ultimate 2-disc edition on the Dragon Dynasty label. Special features will include: 10 deleted scenes, 'Crashing the Hood: Featurette with Star and Action Director Jackie Chan', 'The Hand that Mocks the Cradle: Featurette with Director Benny Chan', 'Baby Boomer: Featurette with Co-Star Conroy Chan', 'Playtime For Adults: On The Set Of on Robin-B-Hood', 'Robin-B-Hood: An Original Making-Of, an audio commentary by director Benny Chan and a trailer gallery. The film will run for 126 minutes in English Dolby 5.1, Cantonese Dolby 5.1 and Cantonese DTS, with optional subtitles in English and Spanish.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Jackass 2.5 in which the boys take their stunts to all-new heights that’ll leave you laughing, squirming, and begging for more. The disc will be available to own from the 26th December, and should retail at around $29.99. As well as an anamorphic widescreen presentation and English 2.0 Surround track, the disc will include a making of Jackass 2.5 featurette, another featurette on the making of the video game, 16 bonus segments, a hot link to Jackass World, a photo gallery, and easter eggs.

Into the Wild is a must buy, We Own the Night is a maybe to buy and I might rent the Gameplan and I do want to see Lust Caution

Getting the 2-disc for Into The Wild. That movie was a masterpiece.

And although i'll watch it online for free, Jackass 2.5 is on my list of future purchases.

Into the Wild was far from a masterpiece but still worth the purchase.

Of those, I think I'm looking forward to the DVD release of Lust, Caution most, probably not in my Top 10 of the year, but still a great movie.
