I can't say I'm happy they are using a Mustang. Don't get me wrong, I dig their recent body-styles A LOT, but the car is too iconic, IMO. The original KITT was designed somewhat generic, like it could have been a Trans-Am, but it was probably a Firebird -- Ultimately it was a product of Knight Industries.

I'm just not liking that they made KITT a Mustang, not because I don't like the car, but because I don't think KITT should be anything other than a cool car.

That being said, I understand the need for product placement. :cool:

Look! I found what happened to Barricade after he disappeared from Transformers...

A big "boo" on the Mustang there. It's a cool looking car, but KITT was a god damn Firebird, end of discussion. If anything they could have at least used the new Ford Falcon which looks totally awesome, or the Ford GT, or why not a Corvette?

That would be awesome.

I guess I shouldn't be too mad. I didn't care when they updated the Transformers. It's just that the Firebird/Trans Am is my all time favorite car.

Oh shit! Is that Corvette really going to be on the pilot? I guess that will be K.A.R.R? If it is I wonder will Peter Cullen do the voice for it again?
