Chad Schmidt?

I couldn't find a thread about this, (the search engine gives every result with Chad or Schmidt.. ?)


I just came across this movie with Brad Pitt playing an actor who moves to LA in the 80s, and has trouble getting work because he looks just like another young actor called Brad Pitt and he ends up becoming like a joke.

The article I found was from 2005, but I can't find anything else.

Does anyone know what's up with this one?

IMDB has a 2008 release date for it, but little else.

I haven't heard anything about it, but this type of thing - the actor playing a character that looks like the actor or something like it - has been happening more and more in Hollywood - first with Julia Roberts in Ocean's 12 and recently with Bruce Campbell in My Name is Bruce.

I think this is one of the few movies that I can prematurely say "I'm there! My ass will be in that seat!" at this stage.:p
