I'd go with Dracula. Christopher Lee is always good even if the movies are not that great. Even Brides of Dracula without Lee is a great movie.
The Frankenstiens are pretty good too, though.

As much as I like Dracula, and I do, I'd have to go for the Frankenstein series
They have well written plot lines and stand up to repeated viewing .

Dracula just because Christopher Lee owns face and Cushing is the best Van Helsing either.

I'm going to have to go with Frankenstein.
1. Some gruesome moments in Frankenstein that still give me chills.
2. Cushing is the bad guy. He scares me.
3. Dr. Frankenstein at least has some motivation that a human can relate to.
4. Lee is such a ham. Brides I think is the best Hammer partly because he isn't there to ham it up.
5. Some great sad moments with The Monster. He didn't ask to be created.
6. Some of the later Dracula movies definitely jump the shark. Just too over the top to be my favorites.
7. That's all I got for now.

Definitely the "Dracula" series w/ Christopher Lee and often Peter Cushing-no contest-Hammer's "Frankenstein" looked lousy, just bad make up / versions of the Monster was always my turn off.
