Kinda morbid, but hey:

Choose one celebrity who you think will be 6 feet under by the end of this year.

1) Spears (car accident)
2) Hilton (OD on some random mix of drugs)
3) Lohan (any way is fine with me!)

but dude is still kicking ass while there is ass to kick, thats for damn sure!

i def see one of the fab 3 biting the bullet this year also (as previously stated)
Britney
Lindsay
Amy (Winehouse)

(that goes to show that you can say Lindsay and know i am referencing Lohan, you can say Britney and know i am referencing Spears... but Winehouse really isnt even famous! So i have to clarify it is her i am talkin about!) of those 3, i couldnt care less if WInehouse hit the dust, as she just seems to completely suck at life... Britney can at least look really hot at times... and Lohan i think is hot, so hopefully they get it together!

Dick Clark.
I'm sure his deal with Satan will get an extension before the end of '08.

For me...Winehouse is possible, but somehow people like her bounce back like cockroaches by the end of Summer or later.

But I can't resist the classics, so I'm gonna go with Courtney Love.

dont you think you should read all of the names listed before putting that morbid statment in here?

i listed Don Rickles.. surely you dont believe he is a "Wasted Life", same with Andy Griffith!

maybe if you just read the names like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan and Kanye West, then i agree with your sentiments, but there are names in here that dont deserve the disrespect that went along with your rant.

Wow. Lohan seems to have finally cleaned herself up and yet people are still bringing on the hate.

And with Britney's case, it's obviously mental illness so it's obviously a case of her needing help. I think because of that and for the sake of her kids, she deserves a little compassion.

You know I just watched Waitress the other day and Andy Griffith was wonderful in that movie. So I hope he doesn't die. He's cool.

I think Dick Van Dyke will probably trip over his footrest when walking into his house, i think that would be a fitting way to go out.

But in all seriousness i think Britney Spears will take the deep 6.

i would say michael jackson...but he's not real.

the obvious picks are amy winehouse and britney spears. what about eminem? he's now depressed (big surprise there!) and overweight.

i don't know why, but i see a talented director passing on, not sure who though. and like every year...a funny comedian will pass and an ocsar winner.

for some odd reason, peter o'toole comes to mind. i hope it's not true seeing as he's a fantastic actor...but look at him lately. he's only in his late 70's, but he looks like he's in his late 170's!

Well I wasn't really referring to you and I'm not talking about this particular thread. This thread is harmless and it would be silly to find it offensive.

But I've heard plenty of times people would wish this person dead. Now maybe they are just joking but I don't find that to be particularly funny.

And Vong's statement: "How come the good actors die, and yet the ones that suck and hang around like a rug-burn live?" is also rather bothersome. He's not necessarily wishing people dead but it almost implies that he does.

I can understand wanting a monster like Osama Bin Laden dead, of coarse, but aside from that I think it's bothersome to wish anyone else dead. Even if they are a "bad" person.

Is this a "wish would die" or "think will die" thread? I'm confused.

Either way Amy Winehouse tops the list. Talentless bitch, that contributes nothing to entertainment nor society other than keeping drug dealers and trash sheet writers in business.

Sorry folks, but I have a bad feeling Britney will outlive us all. Now, she may outlive us all in prison for murder or attempted murder, but still... :o

...too soon. But Scorpio24, even when death is awful, it happens to everyone. Making light of it just means you're well-adjusted. I'm just glad nobody said Heath Ledger in this thread! That would have been some crazy Death Note stuff. Not that anyone will get that reference.

I can't believe you're making fun of human tragedy. I'm more offended than that time Conan O'brian mocked abraham lincoln's assassination on his show. I even wrote him a teaching letter about respect and decency. Then I pulled that stick out of my ass and I was cool with it. Not to get personal here, but childish shit is childish shit. ;)

You should have never been offended in the first place. Its called satire. And if I recall correctly, Conan SAVED Lincoln on his show, so I fail to find whats so offensive about that whatsoever.

Offhand, my first pick would be Britney or Winehouse, for obvious reasons. Then again, we all thought Lohan was on the way out, but she actually pulled off the not-so-easy task of cleaning up her act, more or less. Sadly, Charles Heston is obviously not long for this world in any case.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure there will be a few more unpleasant surprises before the year's over. This will be a worse year for celeb deaths than 2003, given that Ledger and Renfro left us so unexpectedly (you'll also recall Jonathan Brandis' sucide, but that was a few years back).
