Jaws. The only masterpiece on the list. Seriously, nothing comes even close to matching it.

Gremlins - 7/10
The Fly - 7/10
Mars Attacks! - 4/10
An American Werewolf In London - n/a
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein - n/a
Bram Stoker's Dracula - 7/10
Cujo - 6/10
Alien - 6/10
Fright Night - 7/10
Black Sheep - n/a
The Thing (1982) - 7/10
Jaws - 10/10

Alien is by far the best. In both terms of an original design by H R Giger and his biomechanical designs. Combining the look of mechanics with living flesh. But this is a very tough poll, due to me loving most of that list. :D

I know that feeling all too well. I have big sharks in my swimming pool. I'm that shit-scared of them.

Tough choice between American Werewolf and the Thing, but the latter felt like a more complete movie, because I always felt the middle of Werewolf had a kind of rushed story structure, although it still has some of the best individual scares in movie history, and super-duper charismatic characters. Fly deserves a lot of honorable mention as well.

I voted for Alien. I still haven't seen all of The Thing yet....I already know I am lame because of this...:(

I wouldnt call JAWS a creature feature though...

Gremlin, The Thing, and Alien are definately the top 3.

I wouldnt call JAWS a creature feature though...

A giant, over sized shark going around eating people isn't the plot of a creature feature?

News to me.

News to me.

When I think of creature feature, I think of supernatural monsters, aliens and things of that sort.

So no, I don't consider JAWS a "creature feature" per say.

I'd go with american werewolf in london. Classic film. Dracula is my fave film on the list but I dont really consider that a creature feature. Black sheep is a great fun creature feature. It's a very funny film. Feast is another resent creature feature that I feel deserves more respect.

Lots of good movies to choose from!

As much as I love Gremlins, Dracula, and especially Jaws, nothing comes close to The Thing

Jaws is the only real masterpiece out of those.. maybe Alien next.. and The Thing is pretty good.

Jaws still makes me not open my eyes in my pool at night. Ever.
