LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Christian Brando, the troubled eldest son of the late famed actor Marlon Brando, has died from pneumonia at a Los Angeles hospital, an attorney said Saturday. He was 49.

Brando was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the 1990 death of his half-sister's boyfriend, Dag Drollet. Christian got out of prison in 1996.

I'd heard the name before because of his legendary father and his legal troubles. I can't exactly say I'm sorry he's dead.
