I already sort of look like Alton Brown (my favorite food network host):

So I'd have to say his, I love his show, and his sense of style on it.

I think I have a great style. I love the "Jeans and cute top" look, a la Jennifer Aniston (minus the scarf):

I walked into a staff meeting the yesterday, and someone says, "Hey, Dr. House"
Even funnier is that I recently had surgery and a bottle of percocet in my coat pocket. I took the compliment because I do dig House's style, and yeah - jeans, brown sports coat, stylish overshirt untucked and hiding a 12 year old pac-man Tshirt, and my thinning recently short wily hair, but it pissed me off because I felt I needed to wait*for break before I could get some pain relief. I would have only fueled by popping during the meeting.
No cane though.

I dunno I don't really pay attention to celebrities and their fashions...I figure just anybody who wears nice suits. I like suits. They make me feel important.
The Postmaster General
02-02-2008, 12:38 AM
Yeah ^^^ I'm into suits. I love the South Florida style with light colors in day and stark at night, but always light breezy material.
And saying it I realized house is a celebrity, but a character --- who else shares that style though. It's kind of like hipster rocker or something - dunno, but it works for me because you get to wear a suit jacket, but in the snow, hell now am I wearing the slacks that go with and getting them mucked up or dress shoes that won't hold traction. It's kind of like everyone at my office dresses really professional, and I'm like "Hey, I'm kind of trying, but I'll save the good shit for when I'm trying to impress people with my clothes, not when I'm dealing with this shit."
It's also kind of a throw-back to like 80s arthouse scene, I think. Still though, everything just kind of fit together and I liked it, but now that someone threw out the House comparison, and I was like "Kewl..." I think I'm going to play it up a lot more. I'm gonna really fuck with em, and lightly powder my hair one day; already have the half assed weekly shaving thing down. :D

Well, if I could mimic someone's style it would probably be Brad Pitt's. Especially when he was Tyler Derden. He had some tight threads and those shades were awesome as hell. But of course I dont quite have the coolness to pull that off.:(

My style as of right now and what I normally wear is kinda like Colin Farrell. I see him wearing some tight fitting graphic tee with some decent pair of jeans and casual shoes.

I'm more partial to Eva Green's CHARACTER fashion as Vesper Lynd, but still, the woman has style and class on her side and she uses both wonderfully.

That is a look I'm personally crazy for, fashion wise. So noble, not very practically functional, but nonetheless, very striking and very handsome.

I always dug her older, non-performance related outfits.... also it appears my apparent addiction to black and white is now made public (sigh)
If only I had the cash for a least one L.A.M.B. piece.

for me, i'd love to be able to dress like johnny depp and get away with it, though in england, if you dress like that in public, its pretty much the same as having a board stuck to you with the words 'come get me yobs, and kick my ass please' on it.
johnny depp. yes definitely, that guy is one cool cat

I think mimic is something of an exaggeration, but the thread is more about asking who's style everyone digs. Have fun.
