My wife explained to me (which I kinda figured, but didn't truly understand) that electrolysis is a VERY painful procedure and to subject the kid to that at such a young age would be pretty rough.

If she's happy with how she looks, then live on, little one.

Madonna seems to be taking a page from my mom.

When I hit puberty my mother REFUSED to let me shave stating I was too young to get into all that. Eventually, I got her to at LEAST let me shave my pits, but there was no budging on my legs, so I did what every teenager ends up doing: going behind her back. But there's a reason for all that. You see for parents, once a girl starts plucking and tweezing, then she wants more "real" make-up and more "mature" dresses and then there come the boys and then SEX! Then, well, she's not mommie's little girl anymore, is she?
