This is very cool. I remember many years ago reading and seeing that very first scene. I then watched the movie again to confirm it. Thanks for reminding me, Roy. Haven't seen the others though. R2D2's head looks funny.

I've noticed the club being called "Obi-Wan" and heard about the wall drawings in Raiders.

Awesome.

The hieroglyphics bit was so blink and you'll miss it, I had to slow the dvd down so much, even then It took a few trys. Here is the other one I found.

I think it's pretty cool with the hieroglyphics, because Star Wars took place a "long long time ago." So it would be totally plausible that someone could have recorded such a sighting in ancient times.

Awesome! Do you know if the other two Indy movies have any Star Wars stuff in them? I've never thougth to look it up.

Now that's cool. Perhaps that was the idea behind it maybe. The heirglyphics image I mean.

Club Obiwan is from the Temple of Doom, as for Last crusade I have no idea.

I tried to look it up, but not much luck. I think there may be a star wars reference in Indy 3. Makes me also wonder if Indy 4 will have any star wars reference as well?

Thanks, Chase. That's also very cool. I like how they do this. It's kinda like dvd easter eggs. :)

According to the imdb.com trivia section of Last Crusade:

"When Indy is at Walter Donovan's, his wife enters the room begging Donovan to join the party, in the background the Star Wars (1977) theme commonly dubbed Storm Trooper march can be heard in the background being played on a piano."

I just remember reading it in the trivia section (I like movie trivia), but I don't think I've ever looked for it (or listened for it) in the movie.

I'd heard about the Club Obi-Wan thing, but I'd actually never noticed those cool hieroglyphics.

Shit, I never even noticed that. It's been a couple of years since I last saw any of the Indy movies. I think it's most definately time for a re-watch of the entire trilogy. Once again, thanks for the info, RED. :)
