I've been watching a couple of episodes lately, and there not that bad. I watch a lot of tv and was wondering if I should spend the money on the whole series since they aren't that expensive ($40 each).

The only thing that I question is a lot of people said that since David Duchovny (can't spell, maybe that is the way you spell it I don't know) left the show, the last two seasons were not that great because of it. Plus, I'm a die hard Lost fan and thought I would give a shot with this show.

Whoever replys back, thanks.

If it's only 40 bucks then absolutely it's worth it. One of my all time favorite shows!

The only X-Files dvds I own are these special dvds on the mythology because they were only 30 bucks. All of the seasons that I found were closer to 100 bucks. I love the show but I just can't spend 90 - 100 bucks on ANY dvd.

Same problem I had with Star Trek: The Next Generation. But if you are saying they lowered the prices then I'll totally start buying them myself!

i think they're worth it. really great show, that holds up well. the last two seasons were definitely a disappointment, but then again very few shows can remain great for a 9 season run.

YES!!! A few years back I bought the entire series (including the movie) and thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm plan to watch them all again before the second movie comes out but I think they're definetly worth it. Great action, acting, creepy scenes and FX.

All the sets are on sale at Deep Discount for $18.23. I hope this helps anybody that wanted to pick them up for a decent price. I was gonna pick up a few seasons for my bro's birthday.

If you're just a casual fan, I would get them from DD separately for $18.23. However, the first releases of the seasons (that come in a digipack) have an extra disc of extras, and those are the ones that are expensive. If the extra disc of extras mean that much to you, than either purchase the complete series boxed set ($200+) or track down the digipack editions for approx $40 each. If the extra disc is not that important to you, then I would do the slim sets for $18.23 at DD

Your kidding right, I bought them when they were $90-100 a season, $40 is a freaking steal and $18 is like robbing a bank and not getting caught.
