Right away, do not read this thread if you do not want any spoilers... there will be spoilers... lots of them... so i do not want to hear any complaints... kapeesh?(i know thats probably spelt wrong... but i do not care)

Anyway the one I thought of immediately was Sweeney Todd... there really is no relief at the end of that one... it just kind of ends in the most depressing way possible. basically here it is in 10 seconds

Hes avenging his wife's death

She's Not really dead

He kills a weird lady who turns out to be his wife

Pushes Mrs Lovett in a fire

Little kid kills him

They live happily every after

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Chuck Norris vs Aliens.... now that would be a movie... too bad it would only be 3 tenths of a second long... Chuck Norris would just eat the Aliens.

Just what I was going to say. I couldn't believe they actually went there. For a big budget movie that was pretty ballsy - and really depressing!

I thought T3's ending was just the biggest dissapointment out of that whole movie then again I hated the entire thing so it could all care less.

I woke last night with the ending of mullholand dr playing, that ending was a downer too.

Brazil...whole movie about surviving the death grip of bureaucracy, rising above and being a hero, and (at least in Gilliam's cut) the government tortures and kills the guy and his dreams. Cold.

Oddly enough, inspired (if one can call it that) by THE MIST, and all the bleak film endings that hit us in the last year or so, I decided I'd try to come up with a Top 15 list of the bleakest endings (in my opinion) over here (http://thereeladdict.com/reel-list-the-top-15-bleakest-film-endings-part-one/).

Most of the ones on the list are actually one's you guys listed here already though.
