Where is Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan versus Darth Maul from Phantom Menace that was the best part of the entire movie.

Achilles vs. Hector - Troy. I loved that fight. I also loved the Kill Bill and LOTR fights.

Even some scenes of the here so hatred 300 movie are a possible choice, or?

Blind Fury? (Rutger Hauer as blind sword- and stick-fighter) + in another movie with him too, can't remember the title.

Crying Freeman I think had also a nice one

King Arthur - in especial the 2 hand-sword fighter Lancelot (that is really seldom to see)

dir. cut version of Kingdom of Heaven, when Balian meets finally the idiot-king (forgot the name)

In a way Serenity (o.K., not a sword..., but a kind of ax used similar to an sword or? And once a screw-driver... o.K., that goes too far :o )

Best fight for me (in the way of the ability of the involved actors + the matching soundtrack) was an episode of the Highlander tv-series named 'Duende'. In especial the making of of that episode is :eek: :D

I just realise, the following actors are always a pleasure to watch to do their sword-fights (or other kind of fights) in the meaning I have seen them sword-fighting in at least 2 different roles/mediums:

Viggo Mortensen
Sean Bean
Antonio Banderas
Adrian Paul (Christopher Lambert is also not a bad sword-fighter for an actor, but Paul has (recogniseable) decades of more seriously training)
Gerard Butler (no, I do not mean him in 300 :p )
Ioan Gruffudd
Rutger Hauer

they are also better then an average actor in horse-back-riding => ideal period pieces/movies. Only one I am not sure about it is Rutger Hauer, but he did fine in Ladyhawk a far as I remember.

Hmpf, I think I have outed me/myself as a big fan of swordfights, or?
