Reservior Dogs should get you some money, if it's in good condition.

Doubtful. It's a popular movie that they probably have several copies off, plus it's over ten years old. Only new releases really get you anything when you trade in to shops like these.

I'd say you're lucky if you get $24 - and that's only if they take them all, which they might not.

Gamestop sucks as far as trading in movies goes, you'll likely get $1-$2 for each.

I wouldn't do it, you have some really good movies there, and to get rid of all of those for 25 or 30 bucks would be a sin - think about how much you'd spent on them, and then you'll see what you've wasted in terms of money spent, as opposed to monies received.

i wouldn't do it, and i work at G-Stop....

you'll be lucky to get $20 by my estimation, most movies get only a couple bucks unless they are new releases . GameStop is currently scaling back drastically on DVD's . most small size stores are running B2G4 free, and the rest are B2G2 free . by 2009 there should be no DVD's in any GameStop....

yeah...sell them to friends because A) you are getting more out of it than trading it to a store and B) you're friends may get a great deal on a movie they have been wanting...

I got The Last Samurai for $4 this way

I probably will get about $20-25. But if I get at least $3 for each that rounds up to $42! But I probably wont get that much. When I get back from it on Saturaday i'll tell you guys how much I got.

I would definitely try to sell them to a friend or family member first for $2-3 instead of going to Gamestop.

Alright I just got back from Gamestop, I am never going there again. I only got $9.40 for all my movies!

Why did you bother selling? That's 67 CENTS each? I would have just kept them.

You should have just taken your movies back and gone to Blockbuster. A minimum $5 for each movie and for Saw IV you probably would have received a solid amount. That would have been a minimum of $70, but you're probably looking more at around $90, which either way is certainly fair. With that, you could have bought your Fantastic Four, Reservoir Dogs and Dogma special editions. You can only use the money as store credit, but really, if you're a movie fan, there's nothing better than free movie money! Don't know why everyone hates on Blockbuster, they have solid deals. I mean, the no late fees is amazing, now I can keep my 2 night rentals for a week and 2 days, and full week rentals for 2 weeks and 2 days. Not to mention previously viewed movies that are cheap as fuck and come on shelves about 3-4 weeks after original release date, and if its scratched or doesn't work you can bring it back and get another copy. Enough of my bragging up Blockbuster, but I just don't understand the hate.

why would you sell them for only 9.40? After they scanned them you should of just taken them and left. Trading in movies is really dumb to me, you don't get nearly the ammount of money you wasted on buying those crap films, so here's what you do, don't buy those kinds of movies brand new, and if you really want them get them when they are 4 for 20 at blockbuster.

maybe that blockbuster was different because at mine the trade in value varied, not a minimum of $5, sometimes it was like $1.25 for some of the older ones or B movies...but still would of got more than $9.40...saw IV would of probably got at least $7
