Ok so I dont mind so much that they released the two movies seperately because I just watched them back to back anyways but what happened to all those fake trailers? The one's directed by Eli Roth and starring Nic Cage etc.? The DVD extras didnt have these which really pissed me off because I was hoping to finally see them in the interim of the two movies. This is despite the fact both movies are double disc

Planet Terror did have the Machete trailer but that was it. Was it just Australia that got fucked over?

No the Uk's planet terror only has machete. I think they'll b reliseing the whole film in a DVD with the trailers a while after these DVD have been in circulation. Also there's a grindhouse trailer DVD but I think that just contains trailers of old grindhouse films and not the fake ones.

Well i live in Vegas and have digital cable and have starz and they had a grindhouse event.

They aired The entire grindhouse film the way it was shown in theaters with all the trailers and both films back to back. Luckly I recorded it on dvd so I now have the film the way many fans want to see it.

To be honest i hate the film both films. I only care for the trialers they are the best i laugh my ass off!!!

As of this time I have the film the way it was shown (i got all the trailers) so im happy.

I don't mean to be an asshole and rub it in your face that I got it. I just poniting it out.

Most regions got screwed on the Grindhouse release. Although Japan is getting a sweet 6-disc collector's edition with pretty much everything you would want including the full theatrical release.

I'm hoping the USA gets a 2-disc BluRay. One for the whole movie with trailers and one for special features. I am not buying this thing unless it is done the right way!

Yeah I'm waiting for them to release the theater version to even see this. I missed out on seeing it in theaters and don't want to get the whole experience.

I just hope that say, this fall they release on DVD exactly what we all saw in theaters almost a year ago now like they did with PT and DP.

I cant beleive they've been cockblocking us like this for almost a year now. This thing needs to be on dvd the way it was meant to be- a two feature grindhouse slammed with trailers and everything.

Somebody here at Joblo was theorizing that we'd see that appear on DVD this fall. Just like DP and PT appeared on DVD in the fall of '07.

I see your point, but I guess I'm just a little tired of studios dicking around their films with 3 or 4 different versions of the dvd before the whole package is released. Unrated, director's cut, special edition....just release the definitive thing, ONCE!

I've lost all my faith in the Weinstein Company due to them completely money-whoring and seperating the two films. I have yet to even ponder the idea of buying Death Proof or Planet Terror, I want them just the way I saw them in the theaters. They need to grow some goddamn balls.

Hear is hoping they stop being idiots and release the damn thing already. It's what everyone is really wanting, not this bullshit. And hey, while they are at it, they can actually get around to releasing both Fanboys and Killshot. It's been a full year since I've heard anything about those damn films.

Yeah, they took Johnny Knoxville's character out of Killshot because test audiences said it was 'too confusing' and they are doing reshots for Fanboys to take out the plot about the group's friend having cancer (a main plot point that sets the course of the rest of the film) and put something 'ranchier' in it.

I read some reviews on Fanboys over at Ain't It Cool News and most of them say that the whole cancer subplot is portrayed as so unimportant in the film that it doesn't even matter that it may get cut. Which, and I agree with the reviewer here, totally makes it seem like this movie is not going to be very good. No wonder it hasn't been released yet.
