Here's the official trailer for the upcoming straight to DVD sequel to "Lost Boys" has been released, featuring a very tough Corey Feldman as Edgar Frog.

The new film takes us to the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson (Tad Hilgenbrink) and his younger sister, Nicole (Autumn Reeser). Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals' way of life.

When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gang's lifeline before his sister's transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Feldman).

Glad it's STV so I can just act like it never happened and keep on loving the original.

I dont know, it just looks like they are doing the same exact movie but with a new generation. Apparently this one has nothing to breath new life into the Lost Boys mythos? It looks like they go step by step through the first film!

But Im willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, at the very least itll be fun.

It's a very '80s way of doing a sequel. ie - do absolutely nothing to endanger or deviate from the original formula. So in other words, there's no reason to watch it ever.

Hopefully Warner Bros. will look at this and realize that Goonies 2 and Gremlins 3 are terrible ideas as well.

Well being a huge fan of the Original Lost Boys, I gotta say this Looks pretty awesome and I can't wait.

Lost Boys 2 looks cool but it ain't better than the original. Thank goodness Corey Feldman stars in it. :D

I WILL say, when Edgar Frog came on and Cry Little Sister went into high gear, I felt a slight chill...

I saw the trailer yesterday. Damn it looks terrible to me. I wouldn´t watch that movie even if it was on free TV.

It was nice to hear "Cry little sister" though.

If youre a fan of the original Id say that you should be hating the way this one is looking. The went the same route, they played it safe and said, lets give em more of the same, but on a smaller scale. Its kind of like an insult if you ask me.

On the plus side, Id say that for a straight to video movie, it doesnt look as bad as I thought it would. Let me put it this way, it could have been worse.
