Am I the only one that thinks this actually looks pretty scary. Vacancy had the opportunity to do similar things, but the second half kind of fucked everything up. If this has a solid second half, and what looks like should be a better first half, this has potential to be pretty damn scary. And the fact that it is semi-based on the Mason murders definitely gives me the creeps.

That shot where the masked guy walks into the room, just out of Liv Tyler's field of vision...WOW. That's fucking terrifying without so much as ambient sound score let alone some big scary noise to tell us we should be frightened.

I completely agree, I thought if was just as impressive creating that atmosphere with all of the lights in the house on as well.

I know dude, I hope the whole movie's creepy. It's hard to get me creeped out. The only thing that's creeped me out to tears recently is "This the recording of Ruth Baxter's voice in 2004. Ruth Baxter died in 1987."
That is soooo creepy to me. Just thinking about it makes my eyes water. The movie wasn't that creepy but that was a great trailer

Didn't think much of this at first but after watching that trailer I'm pretty interested now. The shot with the guy moving into view and just standing there watching her was pretty creepy.

I really like when someone does this kind of thing. It's so much more effective and scary than an in your face BOO scare.
This does look like it can be good... but looks almost exactly like Vacancy. Just swap out redneck truck drivers with creeps in masks.

I finally saw the trailer in the movie theater and it's not nearly as effective. It actually came off as cheesy and lame rather scary and suspenseful.
I'm not feeling this movie. It looks like across between Vacancy and Funny Games. Except not as good.

I feel like I saw a different trailer for this movie in the theater awhile back. I liked this trailer better, pretty creepy stuff. And Gemma Ward's in it.
