i was channel surfing recently and on ch.2 i quickly saw tropic thunder trailer premiere and it was a new full length 2 minute trailer,it looks hilarious,robert downey jr. is really funny with his accent and all,i can't find the trailer on the web but some of you problably saw it while watchin two and a half man,anyway anyone know when the trailer hits the web cause i want to see it again.

I saw the trailer for this for the second time at the movies last night, and almost no one laughed at one part of the trailer. I actually had a little trouble laughing during my second viewing. They really need to get a better and funnier trailer out, because audiences are not digging what they've seen so far. I still think it's going to be great, and the R rating is holding the trailers back from being golden, but I'd really like to see this do well at the BO, and if it's going to, they've got to make a better trailer. It'd be a shame to see this end up like Walk Hard. A great and hilarious film that gets lost in the shadows because its trailer wasn't very good.

Agree with bigred... the trailer looked alright so I'm hoping that this is more like in vain with Superbad and Knocked Up, both of which had so-so trailers because the really funny stuff is not exactly "approved for all audiences". Still, the concept is too great to ignore, and since Robert Downey Jr. has officially become my favourite living human being based on the concept of his character in this film alone, I'm still interested.

The funniest part of the trailer for me was Stiller wearing the furry animals in the snow saying "Who left the fridge open?" like its some badass one-liner. Mixed with every scene with Robert Downey Jr being amazing, I thought the trailer was fine. I would rather go to the movie in hopes I haven't already seen the funniest moments in the movie, I think part of the problem with trailers these days is that they reveal waaaaay to much. I'm fine with an outline to the plot an intro to the characters and a choice couple of scenes that don't contain any plot lines.. Like the Vantage Point trailer. I suppose it doesn't matter much for comedies though, I only go for the laughs but like I said I don't want those laughs ruined in the trailers.
