Thank Jesus.

Troy duffy has announced that Boondock Saints 2 is coming. And he did it by Youtube. Other sites were saying SONY was doing his flick but the video we found says its a FOX film. Troy Duffy you will recall is the one who made one of hte greatest movies I have seen in awhile and then made a documentary and made a complete ass of himself for the whole world to see. The documentary is called 'OverNight'. Sean Patrick is rumore to be returning for this film. Watch what he has to say below about Boondock Saints 2.

I had to see it to believe it, I've heard of The Boondock Saints 2 All Saints Day, for years but nothings ever happened with it, and now it looks like it is. I have nothing against Troy Duffy and I've liked most of Sean Patrick Flanery, and Norman Reedus's movie including--Deuces wild, Blade 2, Best Men, and Suicide Kings. i've been waiting for this for such a long time.

I'm so glad to see Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, and Billy Connolly reprise their roles. To bad Willem Dafoe isn't returning.

This film also has one of my favorite movie scene's of all time.

Spoilers for Part 1

I thought he came out and said this a long time ago? And still nothing has materialized.

I will be psyched if it is true (But I doubt it)

Boondocks Saints might be one of the worst movies ever made. There's no need for a sequel.

As long as they bring back the cast from the first one (and although I don't see it happening I'd love to see Dafoe return to his character) I'll check it out.

That youtube video he made was like over a year ago when they released the unrated DVD in 2006 and still BS2 has yet to be made. No word really since. I think Duffy did something to piss FOX off maybe.

I used to really like the movie too, but I grew out of it pretty quickly. I would be up for a sequel though since Irish vigilantes in Boston is right up my alley, but I won't expect too much of it.

EDIT: Nevermind my first couple of sentences. This video pablo posted is obviously new.

Boondock Saints is one of the greatest cult films ever made. But a sequel is necesary? Take examples of other cult films like Vanishing Point, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Professional; there are cult favorites and they have no sequel and if made it might suck and complaining that a sequel should never be made. I like a lot Boondock Saints but a sequel might hurt a lot.

The first one is just fun fun fun. Its not a particularly good film, but I just cant deny how much goddamn fun it is. I would watch a sequel only if Flannery and Reedus return though.
