Michael Cera is in final negotiations to star in Scott Pilgrim's Little Life for Universal, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Edgar Wright is directing the adventure romance, which is being produced by Marc Platt and Eric Gitter. Wright and Nina Park also are producing.

"Life" tells the story of a young slacker (Cera) who meets the woman of his dreams but finds that he can only win her heart by battling and defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends

Sounds bizarre and possibly cool, but they might need someone better than Cera to pull it off...

Well, Edgar Wright directing has me interested but I agree, they need to get someone better than Cera.

Edgar Wright, Michael Cera and the third hottest woman alive Mary Elizabeth Winstead all working on the same movie? My ticket has already been brought! I never read the comic but the project has got me interested, I love my MEW.
