Yeah, maybe I should just edit my post, lol. I'm in enough debates right now as it is.

I recently watched The Bone Collector for the first time, and I thought it was a pretty decent flick, that is until the ending. It was so mind numblingly stupid that it basically cancels out any good I found in the earlier parts. It takes a really shitty twist to completely ruin a movie that for the most part is good, perfectly acted and atmospheric.

No Country For Old Men (Yeah I said it!) It would have been the most perfect movie ending with Anton walking away after that wreck and going off then.
Still gets a 9.5 from me.
I Am Legend. I liked the alternate ending better.
The Mist.
SPOILERS*****
The way the end played out went against EVERYTHING we'd seen about Jane's character. All it did was call attention to itself as a movie. Just mind-blowingly bad for an otherwise decent flick. I'm not saying it was totally ineffective from a visceral standpoint, but again, upon reflection, it makes absolutely no sense.

I loved this movie.. it was such a perfect sci-fi drama.. it was really great. Great visuals and acting and a very engaging intriguing story.. but then the end came lol.. and the captain was on board, and it became something I wasn't expecting.. and I really didn't like it.

Thank you, it was a movie created for the ending. they were working for the result, and that never fucking works, especially when the result sucks.
