Getting sick of the advertising?

Now don't get me wrong. I love this site and I check it religiously, multiple times a day...but am I the only one who is rapidly becoming sick of all the "take over your screen" advertising?

Yes, I know Street Kings is coming out, but do I need to have my entire screen whited out and have to wait for Keanu Reeve's mug to show up on it? NO.

So we get you need to make your money, but let's cut out the paralyzing advertisements. It makes me want to come to the site a lot less. If i cared to click on one...i'd click on the multitude you already have on the sides.

I noticed this too today. I mean, this is a new low for Joblo. Let's make our visitors completely unable to surf our site for 10 minutes because of some stupid ad that takes up the whole fucking screen! That'll make them really want to come back!

I'm a fan of Jim Sturgess, but that 21 ad that always pops up on joblo is driving me crazy. That half-assed American accent...argh

even though i'm not a practicer of this is will suggest probably what a bunch of ppl will suggest for this problem, get FireFox and get Add Blocker. But if your like me and don't like FireFox you gotta suck it up.

I don't mind the adds so much as the subject matter of the add. I can't think of any in particular (mostly cause i try to ignore them) but some of the movies they advertised here make me scratch my head.

There is a "close" box in the upper corner of those ads. They annoy me too, but you don't have to wait for them to close on their own.

I had a hard time trying to click out of one of them recently. That kind of pissed me off. Not as annoying as that old Superbad ad that used to talk, but still pretty annoying.
