Doesn't anyone else hate it when your watching a movie or tv or anything and your watching it with someone then a joke comes up. You both laugh and than your partner asks "do you understand the joke?" You say yes, and they tell you the fucking joke anyways! I had that experience when I saw Drillbit Taylor with me and a couple buddies.

Not only did MEET THE SPARTANS shove in every obvious gag and pop culture reference they could come up with in the script, the filmmakers still felt the need explain them.

Case and point, the scene where Carmen Electra's character gets the Venom costume, and the narrator goes: "She flew into a venemous rage...just like Tobey Maguire in SPIDER-MAN 3!"

Umm...did I just fucking hear that?
