Actress CHRISTINA RICCI has taken aim at LINDSAY LOHAN for playing a stripper on screen and setting a poor example to young girls. Ricci claims stars like Lohan, who peeled off in 2007 movie I Know Who Killed Me, have created a culture of women who find flattery in misogyny. She says:

"It used to be something that we (women) were sort of ashamed of. You didn't want to admit to people that you were a stripper. "But now, the hottest thing to say is, 'I can work a pole!' Who gives a f**k? But it's a huge weird thing. "I mean, you see actresses, and their passion project is to play a stripper. It's just stupid."

Black Snake Moan anyone? She has gotten a helluva lot thinner in the past couple years. Almost too thin. I've always been a big fan of her, as Casper was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. She was also amazing playing Shelby in Monster with Charlize Theron. I think she's a pretty girl, even though some of you point out the fact that she has a huge forehead! Hey well at least she has bangs now, eh? :cool:

Her character in Black Snake Moan wasn't exactly a character to look up to though, she didn't glamourise being a cheap shag in southern america. Mind you the movie was sold on ricci being tressed up and wearing fa.

Christina Ricci is a really good actress. Her hotness is on and off though. She looks really hot in the B&W pic. But not so much on the magazine cover. Her forehead never bothered me. :)

I do agree with Ricci's statement. I also know for a fact that her character in BSM was not a glamorization, and she said so herself; she said that her character didn't appreciate herself and was a desperate creature.

I've always liked Christina Ricci. IMO she's a great actress, isn't bad looking at all, and she's not annoying like most other actresses. She did a marvelous job in "Monster" opposite Charlize Theron.
