There's no doubt Ms Johannson is one of the coolest ladies on the planet right now, but is her singing similarly spunky? Anywhere I Lay My Head features Scarlett's distinctive vocal interpretations of ten songs by legendary singer-songwriter Tom Waits. Watch the first video from the album, and check out our gallery of actors who've made the crossover with varying degrees of success

Sweet Lord...no. This is bad. This is bad for her. This is bad for you. This is bad for me. Bad. BAD. VERY BAD.
Just...BAD.

Did Tom Waits give permission for this? He must've needed the money.

I remember she was able to at least carry a tune in Lost in Translation. She sang Brass in Pocket, right?
She was awful in Bobby Long. Watching her milk her eyes for a half tear was both irritating and painful.
Love her lips. Maybe I'll check out her album. I'll see if there are any songs worth keeping.

Am listening to Town with No Cheer. No way. No range. NO way. Boo. Monotonous crap.

What in the blue hell was that?
That was an assault on the eardrums.
See what happens when you tell someone "you know, you've got a great singing voice. YOU should record an album.".
Stay away from the recording studio, young lady.
The movies are your forte.

Haven't heard it yet (I will though). But most of the reviews have been above average. I'll judge it when I get the chance to listen to it.

It's not as bad as most of you are making out. Ok...she ain't got the greatest voice in the world but i've heard worse. Musically I quite liked it. It's weakest on the chorus. But it's not bad. But boys and girls do enjoy their vitriolic invectives. So carry on.

she kinda sounds like a female ringo starr... lol.... which is fine... ringos the man.
Christ on a bike. That was nasty. Tuneless, monotonous, drivel. I'd say stick to acting, but it's not like she's much better at that (Lost in Translation being the honourable, but sole, exception).

Id rather hear "You Got The Touch" by Dirk Diggler. I mean seriously, it is really easy for us to rip on someone with talent but SHE HAS NO TALENT WITH SINGING. It sounds like Sinead O Connor and NICO with a bullet through thier throats. It is THAT BAD! Was she bored one day?? Write a book or some other medium, the music world has enough Shitty voices out there, don't be the fuel to the fire Scar, don't be that girl.

Now I remember reading in Premiere that when the cast of The Prestige had dinner together, Scarlett and Hugh Jackman, both apparently big showtune fans, began singing showtunes at the top of their lungs in the restaurant. Now I don't know much about Wolverine's singing ability, but based on this song, I would've bolted out of that place, clutching my ears in pain and demanding my money back.
That is just terrible singing.
