Haha... I wish! Go Lebowski! Too bad Brad and Angelina topped the list here:

(From USmagazine) (http://www.usmagazine.com/brad-pitt-angelina-jolie-beat-out-oprah-winfrey-on-times-most-influential-people-list)
Love them or hate them, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are pretty influential, according to Time.

The pair ranked No. 21 on the magazine's 2008 list of the world's 100 most influential people.

In an article written by George Clooney, the actor writes, "It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things."

He goes on to talk about their work in Pakistan, how "they have tended to the poor and sick in Africa" and how they shelled out $1 million for the victims in Darfur, among other humanitarian efforts.

Says Clooney, "The couple cares for three adopted children , from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam, in addition to their biological daughter.

"There are hundreds of people who could be honored for their good works, but I've seen Brad and Angelina firsthand, and their commitment together is truly impressive," he adds.

Oprah Winfrey came in at No. 22.

Embattled teen queen Miley Cyrus was No. 59. Cancer survivor Lance Armstrong also made the list for his work with the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

See the complete list HERE (http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/0,28757,1733748,00.html). What do you guys think? Good for Obama being ahead of Clinton! I don't agree with Miley Cyrus, Bush, and... Aung San Suu Kyi? I haven't even heard of half these people. Congrats, eh?

Piece of crap hey? And what have you done lately to try and make the world a better place? A whole lot I'm sure. Enlighten us.

I am not a big fan of Jolie (though I do like Pitt a lot as an actor), but they put their money where their mouth is. They support words with actions. They don't just shoot their mouths off about the big, bad, evil U.S. and then not do anything. I'm not sure how that makes them "pieces of crap."

Oh that's some horrible cover layout right there, that's what that is. The Dali Lama looks like he has a little Hillary arm for starters.

Say what you want, Lindsey. I was at the mall today and passed by one of those stores where they sell like pink sparkly hair barrettes (sp?) and... I don't know what that stuff is. Like accessories I guess, but it's a whole store full of it, and it's all pretty much pink... it's all really small stuff too. Even the store seems kind of small. Anyway, back on track, there was a Hannah Montana wall. A fucking wall man. Wait. This is the part I have to specify that this was noticed in passing. I was on my way to buy ChipStrangelove a hat to hide the hair cut I gave him. Have you seen the softball episode of The Simpson's where Mr. Burns makes Don Mattingly shave his sideburns, and keep shaving them? If so, you're along the right track.

So yeah, obviously Hannah Montana is pretty influential. There were quite a few people crowded at that wall. It reminded me of the Weeping Wall but was absolutely different in every way. People eat, breath, and emmulate her. I don't condone it, but I can't deny it.

Hey, since when has Time not used the red border around the name? Is this something they started to do at some point, or is this really that special of an issue?

My only problem with the list is that they omitted Lenny and Squiqgy. Fuck Time magazine.

They usually are. Just a ploy to sell magazines.

I said piece, not "pieces". I wasn't referring to Pitt.

As for me, I am not rich, nor a celeb yet, but I have certainly done my part to make the world a better (and more relaxed) place for some lucky ladies. How about you? Do anything lately to bring some light to the darkness of people's lives?? ;)

How about Madsen? Well, if you can make Madsen's world more relaxed, you will definitely have done your part.

Madsen: Don't let this offer go to waste!

Oh, when you said "How about you?" I thought you were propositioning him. I'm down with swinging or playing both sides of the track or being all AC/DC or whatever you want to call it -- see I'm so laid back I don't even care what you call having sex with both men and women. I usually just call it 'being popular' but that doesn't always apply as much as just sounds funny to me.

Either way, thanks for clearing the air about your sexuality. It will make Christmas shopping easier this year.

How can Brad and Dogface be influential? Cause they adopt kids from other countries and bring the to the US, while American born kids rot and get mistreated in foster homes? Yea... really fucking nice people. Make me ruler of the world... or U.S., same thing right... and I'd make if so you couldn't adopt some foreign kid. There are plenty of kids ready to pick up right in the Good Ole U S of A... selfish jerks.

And Miley? FUCKING REALLY? Yea, influence all cute 14 year olds to whore themselves out for money... WHUPPIE!!! Then again, it IS the American way.

Time's lists are always stupid and pointless... just like all lists... except for a hit list.

I know you're not her biggest fan, but she does a lot of good in this world. Helping hunger in Africa, helping to find unknown land mines, adopting children that have no homes, etc. The world is a better place with her here, not to mention she's an exceptional actress.

The conditions orphans are living in in some third world countries would appall you. It makes our foster homes look like the fucking white house. Believe me she did a great deed by adopting from other countries, they need it a lot more than we do.

And it isn't as much as what they do as it is that it influences other people in the world to do the same. Since they've been doing it, so many other people have been doing it. Say what you want about how much you hate them, but they are still influencing people more than other's you are naming. (Not you, just people denying them in general)

EDIT: And hey Clever Guy, I was partaking in a discussion with JJ, and not being off-topic for the sake of being an ass. Why exactly are you off-topic? To tell me I'm off-topic? And I'm sure you had so much to say about Time's Most Influential...
