Damn, if I wasn't going to Oregon in mid-June, I would go on a road trip just to see him in Pheonix. Damn... curse the stars!

It sucks that he's not coming to Chicago because I can't be going to St. Louis on a fucking weekday. Maybe Columbus, then.

Definitely attending the show in Tulsa. When do tickets go on sale? Does it vary from town to town?
It seems he's hitting up all the spots he may have missed on prior tours. In fact, a simple "Tom Waits Tulsa" Yahoo search yields several pages of "place yr request for tom waits in tulsa!!".
Scarlett Johansson should open.

You went to the show didn't you? Spill it man! Was it a nice mix of old with the new or did he mostly do his newer material?

I'm torn now, just a couple months ago I saw Springsteen, which easily became the best concert I had ever been to, but I think I have a new number one already.
Awesome seats, and everything at this show blew my socks off (especially Hoist That Rag and Singapore, holy fuck).
Being Jacksonville, there were a couple of pricks in the crowd who thought they were at a baseball game, and yet all those years in bars has made Tom the most quick-witted bastard I've ever seen.
I don't think I've ever been in the presence of someone so cool.

God, I fucking love Singapore. That song and Cemetery Polka makes me want it to be Halloween every day of the year. Rain Dogs will always be a special album for me. I'm glad to see Tom still loves to play those songs. I swear, next time he is on tour, I have to see him....
Congrats. I'm sure you'll always look at that ticket stub and nod your head smiling.
