LOS ANGELES (AP) — Scarlett Johansson and her boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, are engaged. The 23-year-old actress and the 31-year-old actor have not set a wedding date, Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, said Monday.

Johansson's recent credits include "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "The Nanny Diaries." Reynolds recently starred in "Definitely, Maybe." He was previously engaged to Alanis Morissette.

Yeah they haven't set a date yet, because its not going to happen. I think I was the only one who was sad that him and Morissette broke up. To me, Reynolds and Johansson seem like an odd couple... but whatever floats your boat I guess! Ryan is quite the sexy man though! Same goes for Miss Johansson.

That was why it was so interesting to me! They were the cutest and most interesting Canadian couples out there. They dated for years, then broke up... I think thy fit better then him and Scarlett. They just look awkward holding hands together? Alanis was always my favorite... She's very beautiful, and Jaggid Little Pill is one of my all time favorite CD's.

I see going with Morrisette as being something more meaningful and real. She's not a superficial looking women, and her style doesn't strike me as being as shallow as many celebrities these days.
