since im writing a novel thats a horror anthology I figured Id reveiw the best horror anthology there ever was, Creepshow is a super fun throw back to the old school horror comics of the 50s, The first storie is fathers day wich is a perfect exersise in short story telling, not over complicated and it had great effects by savini (loved the coarpse he made me want a fuckin cake) The second story is the one I always felt was the weak link, its called the commet and though the weakest of the film it was still enjoyable, and stephen king does a fairly good job acting for an author, and watching him transform to a plant was fun(loved how he had halucinations of his dead father) the third storie is about a jelous husband who burries his wife and the dude shes fuckin up to there necks on the beach right before high tide, they than come back as zombies to get there revenge (very fun story and leslie neilson does a wonderfull job) The fourth known as the crate and is super fun and has more classic savini effects, I also loved how the main charictor fed his annoying wife to the monster in the crate(great shit) this story also has the most gore of the whole movie(the monster looks ausome though a bit fake) and the final story wich was always the star attraction in my eyes was about a scientist with an insect phobia whos lab gets over run by and army of coch roaches wich ends with them bursting out of his chest like aliens (great shit) topped off with Tom Atkins begining this anthology off ass an abusive dad and great direction by remero(he gave it a wonderfull comic book vibe)
