The Dead Next Door, is a film with a small cult following, but what want to know is why isnt the following bigger, I mean this was a fun ride filled with amazing gore sequences. I do have to warn this is not a film you sit thrue for the acting, and the voice dubbing is horrible, Fun fact(the leader of the zombie squad apparently delivered his lines so bad that producer Sam Rhami dubbed Bruce Cambels voice over his) but acting aside, this is a film you watch to see zombies feast and by god they do, we get intestine ripping, neck biteing and ripping, decapitations, machedies to the head, bit off fingers, ripped off appendages, and evan a tongue ripped out,(no limb is safe from these zombies) top it all off with decent directing(except for a few bad sceene transitions) and you get a cult zombie feast, that if you havnt seen you should.

all in all 8/10

What got me was that the so called "professionals" (the zombie squad) people got killed and bitten so easily. Not just attacked but most in the beginning are just stupid or absent minded and put there hands in/near a zombies mouth then they get bit. Another guy gets it when they are unloading some from the back of a car and role the window down while he is standing there. I really didn't like it at all. The effects we cool but anything else was terrible.

I hated this film with a passion - Acting was wooden, storyline terrible and the effects looked cheap.

I saw this a while back. It was OK I guess for a first time director with no money or actors. It was fun.
