Bon Iver fucking rules

Certainly some other people have heard this album by now (forgive me if I missed another topic on it). For Emma, Forever Ago is a fucking fantastic album, and is easily one of the best things I've heard this year (battling it out between the Ruby Suns album, The Mae Shi, and the new Wolf Parade as my favorite so far). "The Wolves (Act I and II)" is especially impressive. Shit sounds like the singer from TV On The Radio covering Jeff Buckley tunes.

Didn't for me. I kind of liked the album first time I heard it and grew more impressed with each subsequent listen. His performance on Later of Skinny Love a couple of weeks ago was pretty fucking raw.

I really dig this album, definitely one of my favorites this year...I love his voice and the intimate feel of the songs.

His performance on Later was, indeed, tremendous. Raw hardly begins to cover it. I really must pick up the album.
