i can't find a thread for this so thought i would make one myself...even though it's a little late methinks!

i love the album...it harks back to the days of REAL disco and it's campy without being tacky. the brass bits are beautiful, and any song featuring antony's lush vocals is standout. ALL the songs are fantastic though...i'm just surprised by how antony's vocals really come to life set against such strong house beats. the album has it's darker moments too...and there's a slightly seedy quality to much of it. the collective themselves are a warholian dream...androgynous, transexual, gay, lesbian...the whole kit & kaboodle, and there is an effortless glamour about the whole project and the album and accompanying artwork.

the video for blind is also great. it features jamie winstone and is set amongst the bath houses in ancient rome.

Ehhhh, heard a lot of good things about them, but judging from that video I think they're a bit too campy for my taste. Never really got into Antony that much, either.
