What do you all think about this? Is he just a disgruntled former aide airing his grievances, or will this be an election year issue that hurts McCain?

Regardless of whatever evil people think flows through Cheney's veins, the guy is the ULTIMATE shady politician, the embodiment of a contemporary political Machiavellianism, an orchestrator of agenda, and, perhaps most usefully, one who doesn't give a shit.
Otherwise, I can't say. Every week, at least once or twise during, I read in the Times about something McCain has said or sometiems done to try to dismember the "McBush" label. I don't think it's a huge deal. rather someone being at least somewhat honest about what happens in presidential administrations.
The Politico article noted that McClellan still "likes and admires" Bush, which is interesting. I don't question the validity of the material, rather the intent...
