i'm pretty sure this trailer for "mongol" (http://www.alliancefilms.com/en/89/details/display/11854/) is the most epic thing ive seen this week. and i like epic. this is like dark dreary epic. i already see a south park tie in with the mongorians. limited release, anyone else know something about this?

should be interesting to see how they play him as a noble warriro type seeing as thats pretty far from how many see him in the history books.

really? i could have sworn that was part of the tagline for the movie, unless theres some other genghis movie coming, or i'm mistaken, either or really.....

supposedly it's the beginning of a three part series of movies that will come depicting his life. there's a short review here (http://movielooker.com/?p=8), the photo looks so crisp.

I really want to see this but it doesn't look like it's coming over here and the only copies I can find are dubbed in bloody Russian. :(

You're from the UK right? It's opening here on Friday, there was a trailer on TV for it last night. I was suprised to it it advertised at all.

That's what I get for not watching TV or checking the upcoming movies lists more often. My local cinema's got it listed as "Coming Soon" so hopefully they'll be getting it in.

I can't find where this is going to be playing anywhere around here. Some of the theaters aren't listing June 6 yet, but I doubt they'll be showing it.
I am so ready for some death from the saddle.

I'm seeing it this weekend, can't wait!

Now if only Sony Pictures Classic release "12" in theaters, it would complete the list of last year's Foreign Pictures i want to see/have seen.

it's only playing in one theatre here, weird how it's gotten such limited release and promotion.
