Inside - 9/10
Wow, I haven't seen a movie quite this disturbing in years. The mysterious stalker is insanely creepy and really quite believable. Of the new highly acclaimed foreign horror films, I have seen Them, REC, and now Inside, with just Frontier(s) to go, and I have to say that so far, Inside is the best one yet. There is excessive violence and gore, but it never really felt like it took away from the insane creepiness of the film. The ending is one I will never forget. If you have not seen this, see it now.

I agree, Inside is creepy, disturbing, and atmospheric. However, I will say that the excessive violence wasn't necessary. Still a shocking and effective film, but it's not one that'll appeal to average movie goers.
Sounds like you're saving the worst for last by putting off Frontiers(s). That film lacks all of the decent elements of Inside. It's one big gruesome, contrived, tasteless mess of a "horror film", or whatever it claims it is.
Awesome tidbit about Inside: (***Minor Spoilers****)
After watching the movie for the first time, I went back and watched the scene in which Sarah is taking pictures of the couple with the child in the park again. The killer can be clearly seen in the corner of the screen, right next to the bushes in the background, just like Sarah discovers later in the film when looking at the developing pictures. (***End Minor Spoilers***)
I might give the film another viewing sometime to see if there are any more little interesting details I didn't catch the first time around. Sadly, I've yet to see REC; I'm hoping for a Region 1 release sometime soon.

Way too bleak for me..SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Her being killed after all she went thru including killing her own mom?
Hated the ending. Film overall, well made but the ending ruined it for me. I wanted the chick to live and the crazy bitch to die. 6/10

Oh my god what an amazing horror movie!
Saw it last night....didnt know jack shit what it was about, I handt seen any images, I knew practically nothing about it except how everyone was praising it as one of those "you gotta see it" horror movies.
I was shocked at how bleak and dark it was. The graphic gore and violence...my god it was amazingly well done. That scene where the killer grabs those scissors and starts hacking away on the man on the stairs....wow....
Theres so many incredible sequences on this movie, visually its amazing. The gore is intense. The performances excellent. The villain, freaking insane, freaking intense....that crazy bitch had the most insane look. I loved how she handled those scissors, the way she just slammed them on the door or stuck them to the wall, she just seemed so merciless.
And finally, the film just has so many surprises to it, so many memorable moments...I will certainly be making this movie a permanent part of my collection.
There is hope for horror when I see films like this!

I don`t know guys I thought this was pretty overrated. I mean I LIKED it, but I wasn`t as blown away as the rest of you. At the most I`d say it`s slightly above average.
Both actresses were fantastic, though.
Oh but I will say this: when you finally find out the killer`s motivation, it is pretty brilliant and I loved how it changed the whole scope of the film.

What are you kidding Elgyn? This movie was like....oh shit...my brain blew up it was so good. And so scary! I guess I just really got into it which is really the best way to watch this one, lights out, no interruptions, dive in.

I love showing this film to people at my house, especially if they aren't very tolerant of gore or violence. It always gets a rise out of them. ;)

Uh guys comparing "Inside" to "Hatchet" is pretty weird, I don`t think two movies could be more different in tone. "Hatchet" was just trying to be a goofy 80`s-style slasher. "Inside" is absolutely nothing like that.

I like Hatchet and Inside, but yeah, two totally (tonally) different movies that shouldn't be compared.

*Spoilers*
I didn't like this film. At all. Maybe it was because I had high expectations after seeing everyone on here rave about it. I figured out who this crazy bitch was and why she was doing this pretty early on. And I was annoyed by how stupid the characters were. The crazy bitch got lucky ten times in a row. If ANY of the characters had any sense, they would have taken out that bitch rather quickly. But they didn't, they were stupid, she ended up getting lucky, and killed them. And the CGI baby shots were really bad. What was that about? 4/10
