Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Worldwide Blu-ray Disc release of Ghostbusters on the week of 16th June 2009. Released alongside the new videogame from Atari, Ivan Reitman’s sci-fi comedy stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, Annie Potts, and Rick Moranis.

The specs below are from the SPHE USA press release, but as this is a worldwide release (expect the UK Blu-ray Disc on Monday 15th June 2009) details on the bonus features should be valid for all versions. SRP is a higher-than-usual $38.96.
